THE BRIEF

A 100 year old manufacturing company acquired a Power-Over-Ethernet (POE) technology startup company, and needed help integrating it within their existing brand architecture. New and existing sales agents, distribution channels, and other aspects of each business had to be balanced in the approach, as well as how the brands played together. The existing brand identity was very limited, so we were brought in to rebuild it from the ground up in order to attract a much wider audience and customer base.

THE SOLUTION

A ground-up revamping of the subsidiary brand was done including a workshop identifying if the name itself continued to work for the new joint venture. We combined market research with a brand archetype workshop to help create cross-company collaboration between the parent and their acquisition company. From this point we were easily able to provide our creative process which established the framework for color palette/font/pattern selection, as well as a workshop on the company’s mission & values. Additional brand expansions were produced including sell sheets, a full website, social media account set ups, a full brand book for use with new employee training, logo and asset design, tagline writing, case studies, animated videos, and other sales materials.

We took a company with virtually no marketing collateral and armed them with 6 months of material including some evergreen media that would last the lifetime of the company.
